Dogs Available for Adoption
These dogs are already under the care of Alfies and are living with foster families in the UK. Our fosters have lived with these dogs in a loving home environment and have been assessed ready for adoption.
If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs, please take the time to read their details carefully. Not all dogs will be suitable for your home or circumstances and we would hate for you to be disappointed. There is always a reason why we set the criteria that we do. The dog’s need will always come first.
Bandit
Bandit is 4 years old and very handsome with his 2 pointy ears, although you usually find him with 1 up and 1 down which just adds to his appeal. He is great with people and dogs and had no reaction when cat tested. Although he is a big boy, he is relatively calm in demeanor and walks nicely on a lead, especially if there are treats on offer. You might need to watch your fingers though, treats get him excited.
As he is still young, we are looking for an active home for him. Due to his size and the fact that he has not been introduced to children, we are also looking for a child-free home or one with older children who are confident around dogs. He would be suitable in a home with another dog of a similar size or on his own as long as he gets exercise and mental stimulation.
Bandit is microchipped and vaccinated and currently in foster in South Wales. Any application will be subject to a homecheck and an adoption fee of £375.
Bianca

A very intelligent and active 5 year old tri-paw girl who originally came from Spain. She had a hard start to her life, left to wander the streets and surviving on food left out for feral cats.
She was originally in foster with her big brother but unfortunately was left behind when he was adopted. She can be anxious around new people, especially men but is very loving. Her missing paw doesn’t hold her back at all. She is a fast runner and manages to balance when she sits to give her paw, which she loves to do.
Any potential adopter would need to visit as many times as Bianca needs to feel comfortable. She will also need a brother/sister to play with as that is her most favourite thing to do, apart from eating that is!
Bianca is microchipped, neutered and vaccinated and currently in foster in South Wales. Any application will be subject to a homecheck and an adoption fee of £300.
Gizmo
Such a lovely boy! At 4 years old, Gizmo has developed into a cuddle monster. He loves to chat and play both with the other dogs and his foster dad, especially where treats are concerned! He is a very intelligent boy but can be a little bit anxious on meeting new people, when he tends to look to his foster dad for guidance. He will make a lovely companion in the right home.
We are looking for a family with older children who have plenty of time and cuddles for him. He can be rehomed either on his own or with another dog. It may take a couple of visits for him to get used to his new family but it will be worth it. He may be suitable for a home with cats as he showed no interest on introduction in his foster home, just curiosity.
Gizmo is microchipped and vaccinated and currently in foster in South Wales. Any application will be subject to a homecheck and an adoption fee of £375.
Gromit
AKA “Big Ears”, Gromit is another one of our boys who loves human & doggy company. He’s an incredibly handsome boy who loves his food and always reminds you when he thinks it’s time for his next meal! He’s a big cwtch monster who will happily sit on your lap and lean into you given half a chance.
Gromit is looking for a loving home, preferably with another dog for company and to help him with his confidence. As with his siblings, he will need a home with older children or an adult-only environment. He may need a few visits from his prospective family so that he can get to know them a bit better and feel more comfortable around them.
Gromit is 4 years old, microchipped, vaccinated and currently in foster in South Wales. Any application will be subject to a homecheck and an adoption fee of £375.
Ollie

Thinking of Ollie never fails to make me laugh as he is such a funny boy. He loves everyone and is great with other dogs. He is the clown of the pack, is always goofing around and looking to get into mischief. He also loves to be close and cuddle up to you, even when you are standing up! Despite being all legs, he is quite agile and stair gates have proven to be ineffectual since about 6 months old.
Ollie is looking for a home with another dog to play with and go on long walks with. A secure garden is a must for the little monkey and one with older children or adults only as he has not been in an environment with children and loves to jump up for cuddles which would knock most smaller children over.
Ollie is 4 years old, microchipped, vaccinated and currently in foster in South Wales. Any application will be subject to a homecheck and an adoption fee of £375.
